DES MOINES, Iowa - A child can celebrate their first big catch with the First Fish certificate.
Representative with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Holly Luft told KXCV/KRNW that it's a fun way to celebrate the achievement and get more involved with outdoor activities.
There is no size, species, or age requirement it only has to be the first fish the promising angler has caught. Those interested can visit www.iowadnr.gov/firstfish.KXCV-KRNW
